The Bishop International Airport Authority Announces New Deputy Airport Director
As the Deputy Airport Director, Operations & Maintenance, Medici will report to the Airport Director and in this position he will plan, organize, and direct the day- to-day activities of all maintenance, operations, engineering, and public safety functions of the Airport Authority. He will also coordinate related activities with all tenants, federal, state, local agencies and other related aviation user groups.
As a seasoned airport professional, Medici brings almost 30 years of industry experience to his new position at FNT. Most recently, he served as the Planner Principal for the Aviation Department of Austin, Texas, where he developed the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the previous five years. Prior to his work with the Aviation Department in Austin, he worked with American Airlines and was also a flight instructor.

Medici holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also an accredited airport executive (A.A.E.) through the American Association of Airport Executives.
Medici enjoys spending time fishing, playing racquetball, and pursuing his artistic endeavors as a woodworker.
