The Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust Announces New Appointment for Deputy Director - Operations
Hannum has served as the Acting Deputy Director – Operations at TUL since the beginning of the year, and in this position, he will perform management and administrative work in directing the Operations Division within the Airports Department, including overseeing and managing the airport’s law enforcement personnel and coordinating all snow removal and airport emergency activities.
Hannum has been with the Tulsa International Airport since 1998, where he started as an Airport Law Enforcement Officer, then served as the Airports Security Manager before taking over the Deputy Director – Operations role.

Hannum holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics – Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and served in the United States Army.
