Kenneth Gwyn, AAE, Recognized for Four Years at ADK
February 2, 2020
ADK joins Kenneth Gwyn, AAE, as he celebrates his four-year anniversary with the company. As a Senior Project Manager, Kenneth primarily works with clients in identifying, recruiting, and assisting with the appointment of critical airport personnel. “I consider myself as an extension of the organization’s staff. That means being resourceful, responsive, and accountable to the client. I bring my vast experience of airport management, public administration, and human resource management to each engagement.”
Kenneth’s favorite part of being on the ADK team is reading and hearing about the successes of candidates whom he has been instrumental in placing.
As for travel, Kenneth doesn’t have a favorite destination. “I find that I can really enjoy being any place – new or old, urban or rural, beach or mountains.”
Kenneth has been a political science professor for over 37 years and this past year has found him actively attending online seminars and speeches of interesting people. “I have learned so much this last year.”
For hobbies, Kenneth is an avid flight simulator enthusiast telling us, “In fact, I believe that I could pilot a Boeing 777 without much trouble.”
One interesting experience that Kenneth shared with us was when he had the unique honor of meeting with well-known actor, Blair Underwood, who spent a couple of hours with Kenneth as part of his character research for playing an airport director. “The TV pilot, “HUB,” which developed into the TV series “LAX,” was filmed at Dallas Love Field. Turned out to be a very eventful day for Blair. We were handling the arrival of Air Force One.”
Thanks for being such a great part of the ADK team, Kenneth!
