The City of San José Aviation Department Partners with ADK to Recruit Deputy Director – Finance and Administration

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, partnered with The City of San José Aviation Department to recruit Marta Barettoni as Deputy Director – Finance and Administration. In this role at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC), Ms. Barettoni will manage financial strategies, optimize revenue stream, develop and manage budgets, and lead high-impact financial strategies focused on strategic partnerships, leases, and contracts.
Ms. Barettoni is a strategic finance leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning the aviation, technology, and international development sectors. Most recently she was Consultant and Business Advisor with Stanford Seed, a Stanford Business School (GSB) initiative that partners with mission-driven companies and entrepreneurs across Africa and South Asia to build thriving enterprises.
Ms. Barettoni has held strategic roles at Palo Alto Networks, Virgin America Airlines, and LeighFisher Associates, developing expertise in enterprise budgeting, performance improvement, and digital finance systems. At Palo Alto Networks, a leading cybersecurity enterprise, she supported global operations through financial planning and analysis during a period of rapid growth, leading budgeting and digital transformation initiatives that enhanced forecasting accuracy. Previously, she managed financial planning for Virgin America across a network of 22 airports and advised major U.S. and international airports as a consultant at LeighFisher Associates.

Ms. Barettoni holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Math from the University of California. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
