ADK Partners with The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority to Recruit Chief Commercial Officer

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Carlos Ruiz, A.A.E., as Chief Commercial Officer. As a key member of the leadership team, Mr. Ruiz will be responsible for advancing revenue generation, business development, and strategic marketing for Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR).
An airport commercial executive, Mr. Ruiz brings more than 12 years of leadership experience driving non-aeronautical revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and high-impact commercial initiatives across diverse airport environments. Most recently he was Director of Commercial Management for Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport where he directed the strategy and performance of over $90M in non-aeronautical revenue streams, including parking, ground transportation, rental cars, and concessions. Mr. Ruiz has also held business development roles at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and The Ohio State University Airport in addition to operations experience.

Mr. Ruiz holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in General Management from Tiffin University. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) with the American Association of Airport Executives.
