Vanessa Garcia Celebrates Two-Year ADK Anniversary

Vanessa Garcia joined the ADK team two years ago, bringing more than eight years of leadership and operations experience. She has a strong background in team development, organizational coordination, and relationship management. Currently, Vanessa is an Executive Talent Strategy & Business Development Coordinator with ADK. She plays a key role in supporting executive search engagements and strategic business development initiatives within the aviation industry. She collaborates with project managers and consultants on talent research, candidate engagement, and coordinated outreach aligned with client needs.

Vanessa appreciates the team culture she has found at ADK. “Everyone genuinely supports one another, and there is a shared commitment to doing great work for our clients. No matter what the project is, someone is always willing to step in and help. I also value how much I continue to learn. Being surrounded by experienced professionals who generously share their knowledge has helped me grow both professionally and personally.”

She also appreciates connecting with aviation leaders from across the country. “Sourcing talent is something I genuinely enjoy because it feels strategic and purposeful. It is especially rewarding when I see how the work we do helps organizations move forward with confidence in their leadership.”

Vanessa says that what may surprise people about her is how big of a hockey fan she is. “While I definitely embrace my girly side, I am a huge fan of the NHL, especially the Anaheim Ducks.”

She also enjoys golfing. “I love the mental challenge of the game,” she said. “It teaches patience, focus, and resilience, and it constantly reminds me that growth takes consistency. I am also part of a women’s group called Fore the Girls, which brings women in the community together through golf. It has been such a meaningful way to build friendships while continuing to challenge myself.”
