The Norfolk Airport Authority Partners with ADK to Recruit Senior Manager of Airside Operations

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Jerald Humphrey as Senior Manager of Airside Operations for Norfolk International Airport (ORF). In this role, Mr. Humphrey will oversee airport safety, operational efficiency, and the airport’s compliance with all CFR Part 139 requirements through supervision of the Operations and Field Maintenance Departments.
Mr. Humphrey is a senior aviation operations leader with over 20 years of experience training and leading personnel in demanding environments, and over 5 years directing complex airfield and flight operations in highly regulated, safety-critical environments. He worked for the United States Navy for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Air Operations Officer / Director of Operations at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach. In that position, he was responsible for all daily airside operations at two separate airports with over 150,000 flights annually.

Mr. Humphrey received a bachelor’s degree in History from the United States Naval Academy.
