ADK Recruits Enterprise Director of Planning for The Broward County Aviation Department

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Eric Caplin as Enterprise Director of Planning for The Broward County Aviation Department. In this role, he will oversee and direct all Aviation Department planning activities for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and North Perry Airport (HWO). This includes strategic oversight of the airports’ master plans, long-range plans, Airport Layout Plans (ALP), and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

Mr. Caplin brings more than a decade of experience in sustainability, resilience, energy management and environmental engineering. He most recently served as Sustainability & Resilience Program Director at Tampa International Airport, where he led initiatives focused on advancing the airport’s sustainability and resilience goals. He previously served as Buildings, Energy & Sustainability Division Manager for Manatee County Government and as an Environmental Engineer for Hillsborough County Government. Mr. Caplin has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University.

Mr. Caplin earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Central Florida and went on to receive a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida.
