Martha’s Vineyard Airport Commission Appoints Cindi Martin, CM, as New Airport Director

EDGARTOWN/WEST TISBURY, MA – Martha’s Vineyard Airport Commission has appointed Cindi Martin, C.M., as the new Airport Director for Martha’s Vineyard Airport (MVY). Ms. Martin replaces former Airport Director Ann Richart who left to become the State Aviation Director of Nebraska. Ms. Martin will begin her new position on June 10, 2019.

Ms. Martin brings more than 30 years of professional administration and operations experience at commercial service and general aviation airports. She most recently served as Airport Director for Glacier Park International Airport. She has also served as Airport Director at Natrona County
International Airport, Leesburg Executive Airport, Stafford Regional Airport and Warrenton-Fauquier Airport.

“I am deeply honored to have such an opportunity,” said Ms. Martin. “I was born and raised in a coastal
community. This kind of community is home for me. I love the seasonality and the ebbs and flows, and I
look forward to my new position.”

Ms. Martin received a bachelor’s degree in Professional Aeronautics / Airport Management from Embry
Riddle Aeronautical University. She is also a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of
Airport Executives.
