The Mohave County Airport Authority Appoints Mark Hanna as Manager of Airport Security & Special Projects

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – The Mohave County Airport Authority has named Mark Hanna as Manager of Airport Security & Special Projects for the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport (IFP). In this role, Mr. Hanna will serve as the primary Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) who plans, organizes and supervises all aspects of the Airport Security Plan. He began his new position on November 15, 2021.

Mr. Hanna brings more than 25 years of experience in the security industry, including guard force, physical security systems, fraud investigations and law enforcement. Most recently he was President of Security Technology Group, which provides out-source design, engineering, and project management services to the security integrator / guard markets. Previously, he worked for Universal Protection Security, holding positions as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Operations. His law enforcement career began as a police officer with the City of Brea in Orange County, California.

“I am very excited to join the team at Laughlin Bullhead International Airport in the role as Security Manager,” said Mr. Hanna. “IFP demonstrates a mindset and goal of creating one of the best run and staffed airports for passengers and pilots alike.”

Mr. Hanna is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is currently working on his private pilot’s license.
