David Schroth Named Properties & Risk Manager by Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority

KNOXVILLE, TN – The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA) has named David Schroth as the new Properties & Risk Manager. In this position, Mr. Schroth will be responsible for managing activities related to properties, concession and lease management, real estate management and development, and other business affairs of the Authority. MKAA owns and operates McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) and Downtown Island Airport (DKX) located in Knoxville, Tennessee. He began his new position on February 17, 2020.
Mr. Schroth previously worked for Hanna Commercial in Rochester, N.Y., as Associate Broker/Director of Leasing. He was selected to start and grow a new division within the company specializing in the marketing and leasing of retail shopping centers and mixed-use projects. Mr. Schroth also worked for Glazer Properties as Commercial Leasing Manager.
Mr. Schroth holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Brockport and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from St. John Fisher College.
