Eagle County, Colorado Appoints David Reid, A.A.E., as Airport Director

GYPSUM, CO – Eagle County, Colorado has appointed David Reid, A.A.E., as the new Airport Director. In this position, Mr. Reid will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) which also serves Vail and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts. He will begin his new position on June 24, 2019.

Mr. Reid joins EGE from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport where he most recently served as Airport Director. He also held the positions of Assistant Director of Operations & Maintenance, Airfield Operations Supervisor and Operations Technician. Previously, he worked for WK Kellogg Airport as Airfield Operations Manager.

“I am excited and honored to join the Eagle County team and serve as EGE’s next Airport Director,” said Mr. Reid. “My wife Sue and I look forward to becoming part of the Eagle River Valley community.”

Mr. Reid received a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Western Michigan University. He is an Accredited Member (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Airport Executives.
