Justin Treft Named Director of Fixed Base Operations by Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority

FORT WAYNE, IN – Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority has named Justin Treft as Director of Fixed Base Operations. In this role, Mr. Treft will be responsible for all FBO services at Fort Wayne Aero Center and Smith Field Aero Center, including customer relations, line operations, fuel sales, hangar leasing, new business development, quality control, human resources, and environmental and safety compliance. He began his new position on August 29, 2021.
Mr. Treft brings eight years of supervision and airline fueling and training experience to his new role with Fort Wayne Aero Center. He has worked for Fort Wayne Aero Center since 2016. He previously served as Line Service Manager and Safety Officer, providing concierge level customer service and aviation services to the greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area.
“I am excited for the opportunity to lead by example for the team at Fort Wayne Aero Center and Smith Field Aero Center,” said Mr. Treft. “Improving the level of service that both FBOs are known for will be my top priority.”
Mr. Treft earned his associate’s degree in Applied Science, Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College.
