Kenneth Gwyn Speaks at AAAE Conference in Boston

Kenneth Gwyn, A.A.E., ADK Senior Project Manager, spoke to attendees during the American Association of Airport Executives Annual Conference and Exposition in Boston. Mr. Gwyn served as a panelist for an educational session: Priming The Pump – Maintaining a Workforce Pipeline. The panel was facilitated by Maria Bremis, Vice President, Compliance, Diversity and Human Resources, AAAE. Other panelists included George Davis, Director, Signature Flight Support; Mary Mullally, C.M., Deputy Director, Organizational Development, Wayne County Airport Authority; Kevin O’Driscoll, Manager, Business Solutions, Aviation Department, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey; and Kenn Turner, Director, Diversity & Inclusion/Compliance, Massachusetts Port Authority.
The group discussed ways to keep the workforce pool flowing, from priming the pipeline by creating career interest, to effective training and engagement for current employees, to planning for a smooth transition for employee departure. They also shared case studies on how airports have effectively managed these challenges.
