Kevin Smith Named Assistant Director of Aviation By The City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi has named Kevin Smith as the new Assistant Director of Aviation for Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP). In this role, Mr. Smith will be responsible for growing air service, reducing enplanement leakage, and addressing the need for more demand for new and expanded air services. He will begin his new position on April 13, 2020.
Mr. Smith was most recently an Assistant Vice President with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport where he was responsible for Revenue Management, Marketing, Concessions, Air Service Development, Operations, Customer Experience and Ground Transportation. He also has a strong, diverse background working for Southwest Airlines where he advanced his career with increased leadership positions.
Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
