Brian spent the majority of his earlier career in the hospitality industry as an award-winning executive chef and restauranteur. Brian relished great food and hospitality which brought out his creative side. He was featured at the James Beard Foundation in New York City and in numerous culinary magazine and national “foodie” news articles. Starting young, he honed his skills working every station in restaurant kitchens, studying at the Culinary Institute of America and Johnson & Wales, shadowing and cooking for celebrated chefs in world-class restaurants, working his way up to executive chef and for over twelve years, owning several restaurants. Because he was grateful for the mentors and opportunities he had along the way, he particularly enjoyed mentoring and training staff, many of whom have gone on to lead successful careers in the culinary world. Throughout his culinary career, he shared his expertise, restaurant staff and outstanding meals to raise funds for charitable events.
Brian left the restaurant business to spend more time with his family and to pursue other interests which include investing and more recently, learning a new industry, Parking & Mobility. He has thrown himself into this new industry with the same enthusiasm he has for the hospitality industry because of its significant global impact and environmental role in cities throughout the world. Brian lives in Miami and enjoys spending time at the beach with his wife and daughter and taking long walks with their 2 dogs. He loves traveling, snowboarding and, most recently, learning a new sport, kiteboarding. Brian grew up in New Orleans, LA and Louisville, KY and spent many years in Colorado.
