Nedra is well respected in the area of airport public personnel management. In her 24 years with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham International airports, Nedra directed human resources, recruitment, organizational design and development, change management, customer service, minority/female/disadvantaged business enterprise programs, and training and development. Nedra is also very active in the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and has served on their Board in various capacities, including National Chair.

Nedra graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and received certification from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s Institute of Government Public Personnel Administration program. She attained certification from the International Public Management Association-HR (IPMA-HR) as a certified professional, and also is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

In her spare time Nedra, and her husband Bill, love to travel to Caribbean and Mediterranean countries, as well as Mexico and often cruise for weeks at a time.
