The City of Corpus Christi Appoints Tyler Miller, A.A.E., as Assistant Director of Aviation

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi has named Tyler Miller, A.A.E., as the new Assistant Director of Aviation for Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP). In this role, Mr. Miller will be responsible for growing air service, reducing enplanement leakage, and addressing the need for more demand for new and expanded air services. He will begin his new position on April 13, 2020.
Mr. Miller most recently served as the Airport Operations Manager at South Bend International Airport, where he managed and directed a department of eleven employees with an annual budget of $3.1 million. Previously, he was the Airport Operations Supervisor for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and the Airport Operations & Maintenance Agent for Purdue University Airport.

Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Purdue University. He is also an Accredited Member (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and has a private pilot’s license.
