The City of Prescott, Arizona Names Richard Crider, A.A.E., Airport Director

PRESCOTT, AZ – The City of Prescott, Arizona has named Richard Crider, A.A.E., as Airport Director, overseeing the operations of Prescott Regional Airport (PRC). He will begin his new role on May 28, 2024.
Mr. Crider, who is the American Association of Airport Executive’s first vice chair and will become chair at the 96th Annual AAAE Conference and Exposition next month, currently serves as Executive Vice President for Airport/Railport and Military Relations at Port San Antonio in Texas, where he is the executive agent for Kelly Field.
“I am very pleased to welcome Richard to the team,” said Interim Prescott City Manager Tyler Goodman. “His wealth of experience and connection with the airport industry across the nation will serve Prescott Regional Airport well.”
Mr. Crider has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the University of Central Texas and a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University.
Mr. Crider said he is “excited and honored to have been selected as the next leader of Prescott Regional Airport. Prescott Regional is a unique place, and I look forward to collaborating with partners and stakeholders to help navigate the opportunities that lie ahead, and to maximizing its potential as a community asset.”
