The City of San José Appoints Jill Stone as Marketing Manager

SAN JOSE, CA – The City of San José has named Jill Stone as Marketing Manager for Mineta San José International Airport. In this role, Ms. Stone is responsible for the airport’s worldwide marketing programs and initiatives, including traditional and digital advertising, sponsorship programs, grassroots/ experiential marketing, influencer and social media marketing, and multimedia content development/ production.  She began her position on May 16, 2022.

With a strong background in leading marketing projects and building collaborative relationships, Ms. Stone most recently was the Media & Engagement Director for Miller Maxfield Inc. where she developed and executed comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for transportation, government, economic development, human services, arts and energy clients. Ms. Stone also worked for West Marine as Manager, Marketing Communications and for Visit Santa Cruz County as Marketing Coordinator.

Ms. Stone earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Oakland University.
