The City of Waco Partners with ADK to Recruit New Airport Manager

WACO, TX —ADK Consulting and Executive Search assisted in the recruitment of James Harris, C.M., as the new Airport Manager of Waco Regional Airport, effective June 16.

With over two decades of distinguished service in the aviation industry, Mr. Harris brings expertise in airport operations, safety compliance, strategic planning, and customer service excellence. His selection underscores the City of Waco’s commitment to elevating the passenger experience, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting long-term regional growth.

Mr. Harris most recently served at Santa Fe Regional Airport, where he led initiatives that significantly increased airport revenues and passenger traffic through innovative marketing and strategic development. His proven track record includes strengthening partnerships with airlines, the general aviation community, regulatory agencies, and the local community while maintaining a focus on security, efficiency, and traveler satisfaction.

His extensive career includes leadership roles at Clovis Regional Airport, Chennault International Airport, and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Mr. Harris is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served as an Aviation Operations Specialist. He is also a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
