The Clark County Department of Aviation Appoints Rishma Khimji as Airport Chief Information Technology Officer

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Clark County Department of Aviation has named Rishma Khimji as Airport Chief Information Technology Officer. In this role, Ms. Khimji will plan, organize and administer a comprehensive information systems program for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and its sister General Aviation airports. She will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of all information technology including operations and interface. She will begin her position on May 2, 2022.

Bringing more than 13 years of director-level and supervisory experience in a variety of technology application products and suites, Ms. Khimji most recently was the Chief Information Officer for the San Francisco Police Department. In that position, she managed the Public Safety technology portfolio and support services for the functional aspects of policing in the 21st century. Previously, she was Director of Technology for the City of Reno, Nevada. She also worked for the Albuquerque Police Department as Director of APD Technical Services Unit, promoted from Applications Program Manager.

Ms. Khimji earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics and her master’s degree in Economics from the University of New Mexico. She is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
