The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District Appoints Carlos Ruiz-Coll, A.A.E., as Director of Commercial Business

GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG, SC – The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District has selected Carlos Ruiz-Coll, A.A.E., as Director of Commercial Business for the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District. Mr. Ruiz-Coll will be responsible for commercial business development of all aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue business. He will begin his new position on September 30, 2019.
Mr. Ruiz-Coll has a strong background in airport administration, planning and operations at airports of various sizes including general aviation, medium and large hub airports. Most recently, he was Manager, Business Development and Airport Administration for The Ohio State University Airport in Columbus, OH. He has also worked for Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., O’Hare International Airport, Pittsburgh International Airport and Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

Mr. Ruiz-Coll earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Tiffin University. He is an accredited airport executive (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.
