The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Appoints Tony O’Brian, Esq., IAP, C.M., as Vice President, Real Estate

TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority has named Tony O’Brian, Esq., IAP, C.M., as Vice President, Real Estate. In this position, Mr. O’Brian will be responsible for the strategic leadership, management and coordination of all real estate leases, contracts, agreements, and real estate development for the Authority at all operated airports. He began his position on July 25, 2022.

An experienced commercial manager and attorney, Mr. O’Brian most recently was Airport Assistant General Manager, Commercial Division for the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In that role, he managed four lines of business: Properties & Airline Affairs, Commercial Real Estate Development, Non-traditional Concessions/Special Projects, and Air Service Development.

Mr. O’Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business from Hawaii Pacific University and went on to earn his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University School of Law. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and is certified as an International Airport Professional (IAP) by Airports Council International. He has also served as President of the Georgia Airports Association.
