The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Appoints Adam Floyd, C.M., as Assistant Vice President, Operations

NASHVILLE, TN – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has named Adam Floyd, C.M., as Assistant Vice President, Operations. In this role, Mr. Floyd will oversee the airside and landside operations for the Nashville International (BNA) and John C. Tune Airports (JWN). He began his new position on November 1, 2021.
Mr. Floyd brings more than 23 years of operational management experience in the aviation and maritime industries to this new role. Most recently, he was the Emergency Management Director for Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, responsible for directing BNA’s Airport Communication and Emergency Operation Centers. Previously, he was Program Director for the United States Coast Guard in New Orleans where he managed five operational security programs for 135 field offices in 26 states. He also served in other capacities with the Coast Guard in Missouri, Virginia and the Bahamas.

Mr. Floyd earned his bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies from the American Military University. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport.
