The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Appoints John Corbitt as Assistant Vice President, Real Estate Development

NASHVILLE, TN – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has named John Corbitt Assistant Vice President, Real Estate Development. Mr. Corbitt will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the Real Estate Department function at Nashville International Airport (BNA), including aviation real estate, non-aviation real estate, and hotel development, management and operation. He began his new position November 18, 2019.
Mr. Corbitt brings nearly 18 years of experience leading commercial real estate planning and development initiatives with strong strategy development and implementation skills. He worked for The Kroger Company since 2001 and most recently was Division Real Estate Manager.
“Nashville is a dynamic, growing city, and MNAA has some exciting plans in place to grow with the city and better serve the airport customers,” said Mr. Corbitt. “I’m thrilled to join the MNAA team, and I look forward to using my skill set and expertise to help MNAA execute their BNA Vision plan and to help them continue to plan for the future.”
Mr. Corbitt graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and from the Nashville School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He also serves as an Alderman with the City of White House, Tennessee.
