The Port Authority of New York/New Jersey Names Sherri Smith as Manager, Teterboro Airport

TETERBORO, NJ – The Port Authority of New York/New Jersey (PANYNJ) has named Sherri Smith as Manager, Teterboro Airport. In this position, Ms. Smith will lead a team comprising of employees and contractors dedicated to overseeing the planning, development, and day-to-day operations of Teterboro Airport (TEB). She began her new role on July 1, 2024.
Previously, Ms. Smith had served as Manager of Airport Concessions & Strategic Customer Experience for PANYNJ, bringing over a decade of transformative leadership experience. Ms. Smith was instrumental in opening the first airport COVID testing site, the reopening of 600+ concessions, and strengthening the organization’s Aviation Street Pricing Policy Procedures. She played an invaluable role in launching the “We Value You” program.

This includes collaborating with the Teterboro Airport stakeholders to deliver commercial governance and engaging with committed community and business partners to ensure Teterboro is aligned with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s goal of providing a World Class facility with World Class Operators.”
Ms. Smith received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and went on to earn a master of business administration from Jack Welch Management Institute.
