The Tucson Airport Authority Retains ADK to Recruit Chief of Police

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Tom Bailey as Chief of Police for The Tucson Airport Authority. In this role, Mr. Bailey will serve as the senior law enforcement leader with oversight of the following personnel and departments: Sworn Police Officers, Civilian Uniformed Public Service Officers, Police Administration, Airport Communications Center, and Airport Security at Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN).

Mr. Bailey brings more than 30 years of law enforcement experience to the role, including 10 years in senior command leadership at both at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport and the Port of Seattle Maritime operations. In his position as Deputy Chief of Police for the Port of Seattle, he had oversight of 200 sworn officers, specialized units, civilian security, airport communications center, and investigative functions.

Mr. Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences from the University of Arizona and went on to earn his master’s degree in Leadership for Public Safety & Law Enforcement from the University of San Diego.
