Tim Reid, CM, Appointed Operations Manager by the City of Portland

PORTLAND, ME – The City of Portland has named Timothy Reid, C.M., as the new Operations Manager for the Portland International Jetport (PWM). In this position, Mr. Reid will manage and oversee all aspects of the Airport Safety Management System, environmental compliance, and relations with the community. He will begin his new position January 6, 2020.

Mr. Reid has a strong background leading operations, initiating change and redesigning processes to increase the efficiency of operations to improve company-wide compliance. Most recently, he was the Deputy Executive Director for Wavelengths Recovery, LLC. He has also served as Airport Manager for Delta County Airport; Freight Conductor / Remote Control Operator for Union Pacific Railroad; Deputy Director of Aviation for Cheyenne Regional Airport; and Senior Airport Operations Specialist for Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.

Mr. Reid graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a master’s degree in Aeronautical Science. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a commercial pilot certificate.
