Tyler Maheu, C.M. Named Director, Commercial Management by Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority

RALEIGH-DURHAM, NC – The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority has named Tyler Maheu, C.M., as Director, Commercial Management for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Mr. Maheu will assist in the development and implementation of short and long-term commercial strategies to maximize revenue and enhance the customer experience in accordance with the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority’s strategic business plan. Mr. Maheu began his new position on October 11, 2019.
“I am very excited to join the commercial management team at RDU,” said Mr. Maheu. “The triangle is experiencing tremendous growth and RDU leadership has a clear and creative plan to ensure that airport facilities, services, and amenities are aligned with guests’ expectations. I’m looking forward to working to carry out that plan and serving the greater triangle region.”
Mr. Maheu joins RDU from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) where he was the Manager of Business & Properties. He was responsible for managing and directing Airline Affairs, Concessions, Commercial Real Estate, and Parking. While at PHX, he also served as Manager and Superintendent of Ground Transportation Operations.
Mr. Maheu graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Science and a master’s degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a commercial pilot certificate.
