ADK Completes Airport Director Recruitment for The Fort Smith Airport Commission

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Andrew Meyer as Airport Director for Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSM). Mr. Meyer will serve as the chief executive responsible for managing daily operations and guiding the long-term development of the airport.
Mr. Meyer brings 14 years of aviation experience managing complex airport operations, compliance, and infrastructure projects. He has been serving as Co-Interim Airport Director for FSM, guiding high-level strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and interagency coordination, in addition to his position as Director of Operations. In that role, he led all day-to-day airport operations, including airfield management, emergency response, facilities maintenance, and security compliance.
Previously, Mr. Meyer worked for TBI Airport Management at Ontario International Airport, holding the titles of Maintenance Manager, Operations Supervisor and Superintendent of Operations II.

Mr. Meyer holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation administration from California State University. He is certified as an Airport Security Coordinator and is a private pilot.
