Alex Astran recently joined ADK in 2024 to contribute her expertise in communications and organizational skills, working with our administrative team and project managers.

Alex graduated from University of Florida’s School of Journalism with a degree in Public Relations, focusing on promoting and supporting communications for nonprofit agencies. She also received her master’s degree in education from the University of Florida and went on to teaching for the next 15 years in both Florida and Maryland.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys running, reading and spending time with her husband and three children and enjoying the Florida life by the water.
