Barry joined ADK in 2018 with a background in airport management, military service, and both commercial and general aviation. He earned his pilot license in high school and began his career as a district sales manager for a Midwest Cessna distributor, receiving multiple sales awards.

In 1982, he earned his “Wings of Gold” as a Naval Flight Officer, supporting Cold War maritime patrol operations and serving during Operation Desert Storm aboard the USS Midway. He later served as a polar transport aircraft navigator instructor for Operation Deep Freeze.

After his military career, Barry spent more than 20 years in airport leadership roles, most recently as General Aviation Director for Page Field in Fort Myers, Florida. He holds a BS from Saint Louis University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
