Dr. Gale LaRoche is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with ADK Consulting & Executive Search, where she provides retained executive search and human capital advisory services. She brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, organizational effectiveness, and employment law across both the public and private sectors.
Dr. LaRoche previously served as Vice President of Administration for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and as Vice President of Human Resources for the Wayne County Airport Authority (Detroit). Throughout her career, she has developed a strong reputation for leading the transformation of human resources functions—building, restructuring, and modernizing HR departments to operate as effective, strategic business partners. Her work emphasizes the application of HR best practices, technology enablement, and data-driven decision-making to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
In addition to her extensive aviation and aerospace experience, Dr. LaRoche has led the human resources function for numerous automotive and industrial organizations, including The Crown Group, Android Industries, MSX International, and MascoTech. Her consulting practice is grounded in deep operational experience and a practical understanding of workforce strategy, executive leadership, and organizational change.
Dr. LaRoche is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan, specializing in labor and employment law. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior Psychology, a Juris Doctorate, a Master of Science with a concentration in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources, and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management. She maintains the SHRM-SCP credential and is certified to deliver DDI and AchieveGlobal training, as well as to facilitate StrengthsFinder coaching.
Her academic research focused on the dynamics of leadership transitions in U.S. airports and the organizational impact of executive change on senior management teams.
