The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Appoints Kenneth Strickland as Director of Air Service Development

RALEIGH-DURHAM, NC – Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority has selected
Kenneth Strickland as Director of Air Service Development for Raleigh-
Durham International Airport (RDU). Mr. Strickland will be responsible for
developing and executing strategic objectives, key initiatives, and tactical
plans to retain, improve, and expand air service and increase airport use.
He will begin his new position on September 16, 2019.

Mr. Strickland has more than 15 years of consumer insights/market research leadership experience. Most recently, he was the Director of Research & Air Service Development for Tampa International Airport where he held increasingly responsible senior management roles. Mr. Strickland has also worked for Vitera Healthcare Solutions, Sterling Research Group and Home Shopping Network.

Mr. Strickland earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Sociology from Texas Tech University. He also earned a master’s degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University and is currently completing his doctoral dissertation at the University of South Florida. Mr. Strickland was named one of “25 Business People to Watch” in 2018 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
