The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Retains ADK to Recruit Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer

ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Jack Christine, A.A.E., as Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer for The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. In this role, Mr. Christine will provide strategic leadership for planning, engineering, design, construction and sustainability across Raleigh-Durham International Airport’s development portfolio. He will begin his position in November 2026.

Jack Christine is an accomplished airport executive with 29 years of experience leading development, finance, operations, and maintenance at large-hub airports, recognized for building high-performing teams and driving organizational success. Beginning his career at Charlotte Douglas International Airport as a Planning Assistant in 1997, he rose through increasingly responsible leadership positions to become Chief Infrastructure Officer. In that role, he supervised more than 330 employees across the Planning, Engineering, and Facilities Maintenance divisions and directed the execution of the airport’s five-year, $3.2 billion capital improvement program.

Mr. Christine said that he is honored to join the RDU team to help them with the implementation of RDU’s Vision 2040. “RDU has a number of great projects that will transform the travel experience for the community, and I look forward to being a part of the airport’s growth and development. I believe my 29 years of airport management experience, especially my focus on complex development program delivery, will be a great addition to the talented RDU leadership team and I am very excited to share my experience and knowledge as we lead the airport through this next round of development.”

Mr. Christine earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and went on to earn his master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) through the American Association of Airport Executives.
