ADK Welcomes New Team Member, Cyrus Callum, A.A.E., as Senior Consultant

ADK Consulting & Executive Search is pleased to announce the addition of Cyrus Callum, A.A.E., to our team as Senior Consultant. With 27 years of award-winning experience spanning airport management, operations, planning, business and commercial development, and economic development, Mr. Callum brings extensive leadership experience across commercial service and general aviation airports.

Prior to joining ADK, Mr. Callum served as Director of Aviation and Economic Resources for Volusia County, where he was the County’s top aviation official and provided strategic leadership for Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) and the County’s economic development initiatives. In this role, he focused on expanding air service, diversifying non-aeronautical revenue and advancing commercial and economic development while overseeing a $57 million airport operating budget and $56 million capital improvement program. Under his leadership, DAB expanded from two nonstop destinations in 2021 to 11 in 2025, recruited three new airlines and significantly increased passenger traffic.

Previously, Mr. Callum spent more than 13 years with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, advancing through several leadership positions before serving as Director of Orlando Executive Airport and General Aviation. His responsibilities included airport operations, capital development, regulatory compliance and business development. Earlier in his career, he held airport operations and business development roles with the Jacksonville Aviation Authority and worked as an aviation consultant and analyst supporting airport planning, operations and development.

Mr. Callum holds a Master of Commercial Aviation with Distinction from Delta State University and a B.S. in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and served as Chair of the AAAE Board of Examiners from 2017 to 2023. His industry honors include the FAA Southern Region General Aviation Manager of the Year Award, the AAAE Chair’s Leadership Award, and recognition associated with Daytona Beach International Airport being named FDOT Commercial Service Airport of the Year in 2021 and 2024.
