Gina Stough, SHRM-SCP Named Vice President, Human Resources By Kenton County Airport Board

CINCINNATI, OH – The Kenton County Airport Board has named Gina Stough, SHRM-SCP, as Vice President, Human Resources for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Ms. Stough is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in non-profit, government, and private sectors. In her new position, Ms. Stough will serve as a member of the Executive Team and as the Board liaison for the Executive Compensation & Talent Management committee. She will be responsible for defining, developing, and directing the implementation of strategic human resource initiatives, including talent management, labor cost management, total rewards systems, compliance, employee relations and HR data/technology. She begins her new position on February 1, 2021.

Ms. Stough’s diverse career path began in the non-profit sector where she worked to improve the accessibility and quality of public services for diverse and underrepresented populations. In her non-profit tenure, she specialized in removing systemic barriers to service by providing guidance and training for service providers in the court system, law enforcement, health care, and social services. In 2007, her career path shifted to civil rights law enforcement and education when she served as a Bilingual Investigator at both State and Federal agencies.

Most recently, she worked for FirstGroup America, a global transportation company. During her ten years of service, she centralized the company’s equal employment opportunity response, assisted in the development of a stabilization plan for Panama’s mass transit system, designed and implemented the company’s first online university, and provided leadership oversight for company-wide talent development programs and training compliance.

Ms. Stough earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wright State University and her master’s degree in Management from Antioch Midwest University. She is a Senior Certified Human Resources Professional.
