The Allegheny County Airport Authority Appoints David Kellner as Vice President, Facilities & Infrastructure

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Allegheny County Airport Authority has named David Kellner as Vice President, Facilities & Infrastructure. In this role, Mr. Kellner will provide leadership, strategic direction and operational planning for Facilities & Infrastructure, and Airline Services at both Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC). He will begin his new position on January 3, 2022.

Mr. Kellner brings over 28 years of management and operations experience in construction, facilities maintenance, environmental and energy initiatives. Most recently, Mr. Kellner worked for Orbital Engineering as Senior Project Manager for FirstEnergy transmission, distribution and minor construction projects. He has also worked for PEAK Technical Solutions and Welty Building Company. Mr. Kellner also built an impressive background in program and emergency management services while he was serving in the United States Air Force at airfields and bases around the world.

Mr. Kellner earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and went on to earn his master’s degree in Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. In addition, he is a Certified Facility Manager.
