The City of Charlotte Names Markell Storay as Airport Technology Officer

CHARLOTTE, NC – The City of Charlotte has named Markell Storay as Airport Technology Officer for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Mr. Storay brings more than 28 years of private and public sector experience in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, financial management, and program management. In his new position, he will be responsible for directing the day-to-day technology program at the airport, including all airport IT Projects, IT Operations, Infrastructure, Airport IT Help Desk, and GIS/CAD.
Prior to joining CLT, Mr. Storay worked for Wells Fargo as Technology Area Senior Manager – Network Services / Enterprise Technology Infrastructure. He also worked for the United States General Services Administration where he held several positions including Director, GSA National Customer Service Center and Director, Strategic Sourcing Initiative and Director, Network Services.

Mr. Storay earned his bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Technology from the Grantham University. He is also a United States Air Force veteran.
