The Montgomery Regional Airport Authority Appoints Wade Davis, C.M., as Executive Airport Director

MONTGOMERY, AL – The Montgomery Regional Airport Authority has named Wade Davis as Executive Airport Director. In this role, Mr. Davis will build upon the existing success of the Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) to strengthen operations, expand planning and development, and ensure excellence in service delivery for passengers, visitors and tenants. He began his new position on December 15, 2021.
Mr. Davis brings 15 years of airport management experience, most recently serving as the Director of Airports for the Shreveport Regional Airport and the Shreveport Downtown Airport. He has also served as Executive Director of the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority in New York and helped expand Ogdensburg International Airport.
“I look forward to working with stakeholders to increase the utilization of Montgomery Regional Airport,” said Mr. Davis. “With the support of the Board and elected officials, together we are going to accomplish great things for the benefit of Montgomery residents!”
Mr. Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University of New York. He went on to earn master’s degrees in Business Administration and Engineering and Global Operations Management from Clarkson University. He is a Certified Member (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.
