The Tucson Airport Authority Appoints Michael Kacmar as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Airport Authority has named Michael Kacmar as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role, Mr. Kacmar will be responsible for managing the Authority’s annual budget process, as well as preparing regular forecasting reports and monitoring statistical reporting and operating results. Mr. Kacmar began his new position on October 31, 2022.

Mr. Kacmar was most recently the Senior Financial Analyst for Portland General Electric where he supported a $650-$700M+ annual capital portfolio. He has also worked for the Port of Portland, Oregon and Leigh Fisher where he was a consultant for Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

“I’m very excited to join the TAA for many reasons,” said Mr. Kacmar. “When interviewing on-site back in August, I felt welcomed into a positive and friendly work culture, where everyone was authentic and supportive. There was also great vision in the leadership within both the company and in the Finance wing. I’m also excited to apply my 12 years in the aviation industry within a role where strong analytical and interpersonal skills will yield much success.”

Mr. Kacmar earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Cincinnati. He has served on the Finance Committee for Airport Council International-North America.
