Rod Dinger, A.A.E., marked 6 years of working with ADK today. He has significantly contributed to the company’s success from his first day. Currently, Rod is a Senior Project Manager with ADK. His role typically includes managing executive searches for airports and that includes getting to know candidates, building relationships, and connecting the right people with ADK’s clients. Rod has also performed multiple Interim/Temporary Airport Manager stints including Martha’s Vineyard, California Redwood Coast – Humboldt County Airport, Redmond Municipal Airport, Nut Tree Airport and Chico Municipal Airport.

Rod thoroughly enjoys the family environment among the ADK team members.

Rod says that what may surprise people about him is that he played many years of competitive slow-pitch softball and was the pitcher for his slow-pitch softball team that won the California State Championship in 2004.  And he loves sci-fi! Rod also recently obtained a 1951 Packard sedan that he is working towards getting running and road worthy.

A resident of Redding, California, Rod and his wife Tammy have two dogs: June, a 9-year old Australian Shepherd and Jackson, their 13-year old Pug. He loves to play golf and work on home projects. Rod and Tammy also like exploring new places and they love traveling and camping.  “Our most memorable vacation has to be our trip to France and Italy. We had such a great time and can’t wait to go back again,” said Rod.

Rod finished by telling us, “I love being a father, husband and grandfather. I’m fortunate to have my two daughters, their husbands and grandkids all live in town, so I get to see them often.” And ADK loves having Rod as part of the ADK family!
